Ida

Om Ida

Much of Ida's signature sound can be heard in the tight, close harmonies of its founding duo, Daniel Littleton and Elizabeth Mitchell, who started playing together in Brooklyn in 1992. They were soon joined by Karla Schickele and Daniel's younger brother, Michael "Miggy" Littleton, who left the group in 1999, the same year Littleton and Mitchell married. Their discography begins with 1994's Tales Of Brave Ida and continued through the '90s with a number of releases which attracted a wide national following. Discography highlights include 2000's Will You Find Me and 2005's Heart Like A River. Mitchell has also released a small handful of critically acclaimed children's records.
