O'Day's last album for Verve pairs her with Gene Harris's piano trio (which gets plenty of instrumentals). The album isn't a fan favorite since she doesn't kick off her heels and go wild, but it shows O'Day as a more sensitive ballad singer than she was remembered to be. Highlights include "Whisper Not," "When the World Was Young" and "You and the Night and the Music."
